So how do we do this?
Modern vehicles are full of sensors that generate data. For optimal vehicle operation, but also to inform the driver.
Making this data suitable for other applications is not that easy, because:
All cars use similar sensors, but the language in which they communicate the data differs per car brand and -model.
For example, all cars have low beam, but the value that signal represents differs per car brand.
So if you want to start using the In-vehicle data from all car brands and -models, you run into a problem.
Because for example how do you find the odometer in all those languages? And if you've already found the odometer, how reliable is this within the working area?
